Thank you to all those that participated in our survey – the results will be used to steer SAC initiatives. You can use the following link to review the results.

 

Starting next week, there will be a bin outside of the main office for winter clothing donations – there is a school less than 10 minutes away from Willy that needs our help!

Coats, snow pants, and boots are desperately needed. Other winter accessories are also welcomed. Thank you!

Our Parent Social has been scheduled for Friday, Nov.15th at the Balmy Beach Club. Tickets are available on School Cash Online for $30 each. Ticket includes finger foods and a raffle ticket. There will be music and lots of room for dancing as the night goes on.

The social is a great way to meet new friends, catch up with old friends, and enjoy a local child-free night!

Please contact Lisa Shuttleworth if you would like to volunteer to help organize – we do need a couple of people to help with the planning and on the night of the event itself.

We are also looking for donations such as sports tickets or event tickets to offer as prizes. Do you have any connections or access to such tickets? If so, please contact Lisa at the link noted above.

Do you have any unused gift cards at home? We would like to build a gift card tree as a prize.  Please drop off any unused gift cards to Frances in the office.

Wine!!!!!! Now that we have your attention, do you have a favourite bottle you would like to share?  We would like to build a case of wine to offer as a prize. Bottles can be delivered to the office as well.

As part of our Eco-schools initiative, we are reminding students that we have a boomerang lunch at Williamson Rd.  A boomerang Lunch means that everything in your child’s lunch goes home at the end of the day (leftover food, containers, recyclables or garbage).  Please encourage your child to honor the boomerang lunch and take home all wrappers and garbage.
