In collaboration with our administration, we are happy to help out with Willy Reads which will take place the week of Jan 28th.
Dress Up As Your Favourite Book Character and Storyteller in the School for all grades are just some of the things to look forward to. Stay tuned for more information in Frances’ Friday email.
This is the last week to support the Teen Angel Program of Centre 55 and “coins not cans” for the Daily Bread Food Bank. The Teen Angel bulletin board is in the main hall by the office – please see the list of suggested places to purchase gift cards. Feel free to take a tag off the line, purchase a gift card and return to the office by December 14.
The Eco club would like to share how happy they are to see this pile of garbage bags BECAUSE they are filled with clothing and textiles donations that will be diverted from the landfill and reused or repurposed. Thank you Willy!
If you have more to donate, please drop off in front of the office by Wednesday morning, Dec 12th.
Please also keep in mind, we have 3 more pickups… The next one will be January 24th.
You can drop off all men’s, women’s and children’s clothing as well as: footwear, mittens, towels, purses, soft bags, handbags, linens, belts and hats. Since textiles are being recycled and not donated they can be in any condition, however they should be dry. The drop-off is under the Eco Club display case across from the office.
Our next SAC meeting is scheduled for Wednesday January 30th, 2019 at 6:30pm in the school library. Child care will be available. The agenda for the meeting will be posted shortly.

The Willy Eco Club has a super easy eco switch you can do every day! Consider packing your child’s lunch in reusable containers. No more ziplock bags or cling wrap. Just don’t forget to label the containers with their name so they can be returned to the rightful owner when lost.?
