On Monday, September 30th (tmrw), the school will be raising awareness and participating in Orange Shirt Day – students are encouraged to wear an orange shirt to school. They will be learning why we acknowledge Orange Shirt Day.

1. Possible Student Participation in Climate Change Rally – Information for Parents and Students: Young people from around the world have joined the Fridays for Future movement and are showing their support by participating in climate change rallies. Currently, there is a student climate change rally planned for Friday, September 27 at Queen’s Park. More information is available on the TDSB website.
2. French-as-a-Second-Language Review Recommendations Q&A: At the June 2019 Board meeting, recommendations to change the Intensive French-as-a-Second Language programs in the TDSB were passed. For your information, please see the FSL Program Review Recommendations Q&A. 3. International Walk to School Day (IWALK/IWHEEL): On October 2, join students and families across the world in celebrating IWALK/IWHEEL – an annual celebration of active transportation.
