Willy SAC Funding Requests for 2025-2026

💡 Have an idea you’d like to bring to life at Willy?

Each year, parents/caregivers and school staff are invited to submit proposals for the Willy SAC budget. This is your chance to champion a program or initiative that could bring new learning and enrichment opportunities to the school community.

👉 To apply, complete the funding request form with a breakdown of costs and as much detail as possible. Proposals will be reviewed for consideration in the 2025-2026 school year budget. Clear, detailed submissions help the Executive Council assess each idea fairly.

Please note: there are many rules around how SAC funds can be spent, so not all ideas can be supported (as wonderful as they may be!) The council also makes an effort to prioritize funding requests that benefit all students at the school.

✨ First Willy SAC Meeting of the Year ✨

Parents and caregivers are invited to join us for the first Willy SAC meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 30 at 6:30 PM in the school library. It’s a great chance to connect with other families, hear about upcoming events, and share ideas for the year ahead.

🗳️ Elections for Executive Members will take place at this meeting. If you’re interested in a role, please submit the nomination form by September 26.

📄 Executive Council roles are described on our website – we encourage you to take a look and consider how you might get involved. Executive Members are expected to attend a minimum number of meetings to help us reach quorum (the minimum number of members required to make decisions and carry out council business).

📅 Did you know? The Willy SAC is required to hold at least four meetings each school year, creating regular opportunities for families to get involved and help shape our school community.

Good news – you don’t need to be an Executive Member to participate! All parents and guardians are welcome to attend meetings, volunteer for events, or join committees. Your involvement makes a big difference!

🙌 Everyone is welcome – whether you’d like to put your name forward, join a committee, or just listen in. We’d love to see you there!
